If the user types them in we can upload an image but redirect fails - I am guessing because the authentication cookies are lost (there are a host of other session variables that I'm guessing will be lost as well). has been working in the image processing field since 2001. I have added another UploadURL page to a non-secure section of the application but it would appear that the variables (UploadURL | RedirectURL) are not being passed to the Aurigma app (see screenshot below) I'm sure this is an issue you are aware of - but how do we overcome it? There is no problem installing the Aurigma app and the upload procedure starts, but then blows out with 'unable to contact server' - please bear in mind we are US based and the only person we know with an iPhone is UK based. Once logged in they can select a number of options and upload an image file - all this works fine with anything that supports standard Windows applications, but of course iPhone is the pain.
Unfortunately, there is really no canned way of facilitating image upload from mobile to drupal, your best bet is to try and use services to post the image through http.We have a web vb.net app that requires the user to login via forms authentication. It took me forever to figure this out, if you get that far, let me know and I'll elaborate. Install the latest version of Clip Man - Clipboard Manager APP for free. The project consists of the following important parts: samples folder - contains the code of sample apps. If you end up going the titanium rout and you are trying to post images via services, you have to make some alterations to code that compiles titanium (kinda hack it), so that the image blob data can be properly posted. If Aurigma Up 1.0.1 cannot be quit normally, you can select the app in Activity Monitor, click the large red Quit Process button in the left corner and click Force Quit button in the pop-up dialog. it still has a pretty steap learning curve but much less than learning a new language. ActiveX is still the prevalent platform (at least for desktop apps) and it still requires a powerful imaging solution - Graphics Mill. I find objective C realy intimidating and am more familiar with languages like java and js so titanium really great. Aurigma Graphics Mill 2.0 is a set of powerful, fast and memory-friendly components which resolves most of image processing tasks: load/save files of most popular formats, enhance, transform, display, reduce colors, combine images, draw imagery, etc. Turn it on and allow users highlighting certain regions or adding notes. Another user feature is a drawing and cropping tool built into uploader. Just instruct your users to put a screenshot to a clipboard (using Alt+PrtScr or a Snipping Tool app) and then press Ctrl+V.

Upload Suite allows inserting images directly from a clipboard. Check out github, there are some examples of iPhone apps that use services with drupal.
